Stockton Chiropractors FAQ

Like other Stockton chiropractors, we hear many questions from new and current chiropractic patients.

Here are some of the most common questions and answers…

Frequently Asked Questions Apple

Stockton Chiropractors are often asked… ‘Once you go to the chiropractor do you have to keep going?’

What’s wrong with me?

What’s wrong is your body is not functioning as it was intended. There is interference to your master control system– your nervous system. This is what chiropractors call Subluxation. This is brought about by toxicities and deficiencies in the way we eat, move and think. We must find what specific subluxations are affecting you and address the toxicities and deficiencies that are happening to you.

Who should be checked by a chiropractor?

People who think of their chiropractor like a dentist for the spine. Anyone would like a healthy spine should see a chiropractor.

Once you go to the chiropractor do you have to keep going?

Going to the gym, the dentist and eating veggies are great healthy habits, just like chiropractic. Getting the best results from these things comes from choosing to incorporate them on a regular basis forever. Once you start feeling great why would you want to stop?

Does my insurance cover chiropractic care?

Your insurance may or may not cover chiropractic care. We are on some plans but will have to call to determine your coverage. Insurance is based on treating sickness and disease and is not intended for wellness and prevention, which is the only way to true health. We have very affordable care plans for people who want to live a healthy and vibrant lifestyle.

Can I adjust myself?

No. Some people may be able to make their joints “pop,” but that’s not an adjustment! Adjustments are specific and take years to master.
